Strawberry Pie


1 graham cracker crust in 10" glass pie pan (see Graham Cracker Crust)
2 boxes fresh strawberries, cleaned and hulled
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 heaping Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water
1 small pkg strawberry jello

Place cleaned strawberries in graham cracker crust. In saucepan, heat to boiling the 1 1/2 cups water and sugar; stir cornstarch in 1/2 cup cold water to dissolve, then add to first mixture and stir until thick. Remove from heat and add jello and stir till jello is dissolved. Pour over berries in pie shell. Let set; serve with whip cream.
