Mix together the crumbs and 1 stick of soft butter until blended. Press onto bottom of a 9 x 13" pan. Do not bake. Beat 2 sticks butter, 1 box powdered sugar, 2 eggs and vanilla. Beat for 15 minutes. This is a MUST or it will not set. Spoon this filling evenly over the crust. Then layer in this order: drained pineapple, sliced bananas, whipped topping, cherries and nuts, drizzle chocolate over top. Cover. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
I could not find a 15 oz can of crushed pineapple this time so used a 20 oz can...a little more pineapple doesn't hurt :)
